Long Island Café, 5222 Portage Road only place within an hour to get breakfast & lunch with a full bar starting at 7am 7 days a week. With its signature mimosa tower — enjoy with one or two bottles of champagne in it — the café has plenty of fun drink specials for the restaurant industry crowd and third-shifters.

Regular weekday specials at the island-themed restaurant include Mahalo Mondays, where restaurant industry workers get $2 off glasses of wine, sangria, mimosas and draft beer all morning. They also have Third-Shift Thursdays, where third-shifters can get half off pints until 9 a.m.

Tap Tuesdays and Floatin’ Fridays offer beer specials, Whitecap Wednesdays knocks a dollar off coffee drinks while Sangria Saturdays and Sandbar Sundays feature their own fun specials.

Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, just south of I-94, the café features breakfast all day. It has seating for more than 200 customers inside and a small patio outside with six tables.

The café also serves up an extensive lunch menu from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lunch items include the Turkey Berry Wrap which consists of craisins, feta cheese raspberry vinaigrette and lettuce. The pulled pork flatbread, the Reuben and scratch-made soups are also highlights.Trendy breakfast dishes include avocado toast, a French toast sandwich, build-your-own omelets, cinnamon roll pancakes and the Archipelago — which melds together pancakes and French toast. The café also has stuffed hashbrowns and housemade biscuits and gravy. From the sangria to the mimosa flights to the One Well State of Bean coffee beer, everything is designed for the early crowd.

The space can also be rented out after-hours for afternoon baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties and other events.
